Dominion Street Improvements, Caledon
The Dominion Street Rehabilitation Project in Caledon was a one-year initiative undertaken by Eyeco Inc. This project involved the construction of three new retaining walls along Dominion Street, adjacent to the Credit River, to both widen the existing road and address slope failure issues.The project was divided into three sections and included the following key activities:Construction of 400 m² of retaining walls, comprising both cast-in-place and precast concrete walls.Installation of 200 self-drilling and helical piles.Excavation of 500 m³ and backfilling with 600 m³ of Granular A and Granular B materials.Installation and removal of 100 m² of cofferdam.Removal of 600 m² of trees and subsequent tree planting.Installation of 750 m² of GeoWeb.Laying of 2,000 m² of new asphalt pavement.Installation of 500 linear meters of pedestrian railing
